Yesterday was the first day of spring, according to the calendar. It was kind of cloudy, damp and got up to almost 50 degrees but with a chilly wind blowing. I took S to his percussion class at the community college. Since the class was only a half hour long. I parked at the library a couple blocks away and walked for a bit. As I was walking, I started to notice all the litter everywhere. Not until I had completed my round and had almost gotten back to the library, did I think to take out my camera and take pictures.
I am not the greatest photographer in the world, to put it mildly, but here's just a little sample of what I saw.

Single use disposal plastic creates lots and lots of litter. And it NEVER goes away. It doesn't biodegrade.
We have become wanton in our casual disregard for our children, our neighbors and God's creation. We simply don't have the time to think about it. We've got more important things to do.
Like get fast food or a cup of coffee from Starbucks. Or use 1 trillion filmy plastic bags yearly to carry our stuff home from the store.
We've got to stop living like this! It is truly sinful.
