100 Days of Hygge - Day 3

Every summer I worry that my crape myrtle won't bloom.  It is a very late bloomer (like me!).  Earlier in the summer I notice all the other crape myrtles blooming and I think, when is mine gonna bloom???

And then it does.   Hygge!

UPDATE:  It's CRAPE myrtle.  Not crepe myrtle.  Crepes are those yummy French pancakes.

Every time I pull out or drive into my driveway, I rejoice in the Lord!

I think the bark is beautiful too.
