This is an interesting resource. I'm starting to think about helping Sean prepare for Confirmation. At our parish you have to register in 7th grade (next year for him, officially). The prep is a two year process with the Sacrament of Confirmation usually happening in the spring of the 8th grade year. Each confirmandi has to join a team of other confimandi to perform certain activities or acts of community service as part of the preparation. Our parish lets us homeschool, so we don't have to sign up for the classes. We do have to send in a list of our resources used in the preparation. And each child has to be interviewed by either our Pastor, one of the Religious Ed teachers or the Youth Ministers at our church. And they each have to write a letter to Father Pat explaining why they want to be Confirmed. And they go on an overnight retreat as well, usually in the fall of 8th grade, if I'm remembering correctly.
Anyway, I thought Sean might be interested in making a lapbook while he prepare for the sacrament. So I'm keeping this resource in mind!
