Neversleep

Eli a.k.a Will wrote this morality play (he wrote the music, apparently his girlfriend Natalia wrote the libretto but it sure sounds like Will's kind of themes.)  This was a project he had to do to graduate.  It was held at the Cloud Club which is a kind of artists' salon owned by Amanda Palmer and some other person.

It is avant garde, but I actually think the singers pull it off (I did giggle a bit when the lady singer climbed up the tree).  Watching the whole thing I was overcome with a deep appreciation and fondness for youthfulness; youthful creativity, energy, dreams and hope.  I think the piece must have been so hard to sing, but I think a lot of the melodies really worked.

Anyway, it is just over 22 minutes long.
